What is Virtual Monitoring?
Virtual Monitoring uses a secure smartphone app to let your Specialist Orthodontist keep a close eye on your treatment remotely, without you needing to come in. You take quick scans of your teeth at home, and we review them between your scheduled appointments.
It works alongside your treatment, whether you’re using Invisalign® clear aligners or wearing braces, adding an extra layer of oversight without adding extra trips to our practice.
How it works — in three simple steps
First, download the app and we'll set you up. Then, roughly every 7 to 10 days, you take a short series of photos of your teeth using your phone — it takes just a couple of minutes, and the app guides you through it.
Your scans are sent straight to our team, who check that your teeth are moving exactly as planned. If everything's on track, you carry on; if something needs attention, we'll let you know — and you can message us through the app any time.
